Australia’s great Shane Warne has made predictions for the 2021 T20 World Cup in UAE and Oman. The Round 1 of the tournament is going on, and the Super 12 will be starting from October 23 with England taking on West Indies.

Warne posted a tweet and wrote that Australia are being ‘underestimated’ as they have a squad with match-winners. Australia will start their campaign against South Africa at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The ex-Australia cricketer also picked India and England as the two favorites for the T20 World Cup, but he’s also keeping his eyes on Pakistan and West Indies who have the potential.

“I think Eng & India have to go in as fav’s for the T/20 WC. NZ always perform well in @ICC events too.

“But I have a feeling the Aussies are being underestimated as they have a lot of match winners in their squad. Then you have Pakistan & the Wi. Excited to see who will win ???? (Sic),” wrote Warne on Twitter.

West Indies are the defending champions and they have won two T20 World Cup titles, while India, Pakistan, England, and Sri Lanka have won 1 tournament each.
