Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday (October 15) launched the national team’s new jersey for the T20 World Cup 2021, slated to be held in UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14.
Taking to Twitter, PCB’s official handle unveiled the kit, which has ‘India 2021’ logo printed on the shirt.

Notably, a leaked picture of Pakistan’s official T20 World Cup jersey was doing rounds on social media last week for a controversial reason. Skipper Babar Azam was seen wearing the new kit and it had ‘UAE 2021’ instead of ‘India 2021’ as the host name.

It is worth mentioning here that the T20 World Cup 2021 was moved out of India considering the grim COVID-19 situation in the country earlier this year. However, BCCI still has the hosting rights for the showpiece tournament.
For the T20 World Cup, Pakistan are slotted in Group 2 along with India, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and the two qualifiers from Round 1. They will start their campaign against arch-rivals India on October 24 in Dubai.
